On March 10, the Xiangjiang Guanxi Coatings Co., Ltd. in Hunan Province passed the expert acceptance organized by the Changsha Municipal Science and Technology Bureau for its major municipal science and technology project "Research and Industrialization of Key Technologies for High-Performance Metallic Effect Aluminum Pigments and Coatings - Research and Industrialization of High-Performance Metallic Effect Coatings".
On March 10, the major municipal science and technology project undertaken by Hunan Xiangjiang Guanxi Coatings Co., Ltd., "Research and Industrialization of Key Technologies for High-Performance Metal Effect Aluminum Pigments and Coatings - Research and Industrialization of High-Performance Metal Effect Coatings," passed the expert acceptance organized by the Changsha Municipal Science and Technology Bureau.
Hunan Xiangjiang Guanxi Coatings Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the production and sales of automotive coatings, and providing coating technology and management services to automobile manufacturers. Established in 1995, the company has a registered capital of US\$11.875 million, covers an area of 66,000 square meters, and has an annual coating production capacity of 80,000 tons. The company has continuously obtained the Hunan Provincial High-tech Enterprise Certificate in 2009, 2012, and 2015. Since its establishment, the company's sales have grown steadily at an average annual rate of 20%. In 2015, its sales revenue reached 2.58 billion yuan, making it the largest automotive OEM coating Manufacturer in China for nine consecutive years.
Guided by technology and market, and relying on the provincial coating technology center of Xiangjiang Coatings Group Company, the company keeps up with the forefront of China's automotive coating development, and its R\&D capabilities have developed rapidly. The major scientific and technological project "Research and Industrialization of Key Technologies for High-Performance Metal Effect Aluminum Pigments and Coatings - Research and Industrialization of High-Performance Metal Effect Coatings," undertaken by the company from 2013 to 2015 and designed by the Changsha Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, was successfully completed according to the contract objectives. The project's "Chang'an CS75 body color" design won the 2013-2014 "China Color Materials Innovation Award".
During the project implementation, the company's added output value was 733 million yuan, added sales revenue was 721.8475 million yuan, and total tax payment exceeded 57.5162 million yuan. Through the project, the company applied for 2 invention patents, added 45 jobs, and cultivated 11 enterprise technical backbones, achieving good economic and social benefits.
The research and industrialization of the project's products has greatly accelerated the rapid development of China's aluminum pigment automotive coating technology, bringing the technology of domestic aluminum pigment automotive coating products to the internationally advanced level, meeting the diverse needs of customers, enhancing the core competitiveness of the enterprise, and generating good social and economic benefits.
